Hello (:

28 August 2009
cho-umm...weird, brown things :3

Today, together with Xue, we made chocolate for teachers' day! :D it turned out to be.....well...lumpy looking bits of diarrhea or...vomit...or shit :X it didn't taste that bad though! In it's molten/liquid state, that is...at least it gave a bit of a nauseating feeling, but nothing really bad. :D I hope it'll turn out okay in solid form D: and not give teachers tummy upsets or stuff x_x

hehe..

it was fun and tiring 8D

I hope it turns out well :X (may post pics of the wonderful chocs later on :D)

My mom called earlier on and said that my friend's father died yesterday.

This is so scary. And sad. And shocking. And sudden. Definitely sudden.

It's horrible just thinking about it. My friend's the same age as me, and her dad isn't that old. Around my dad's age. This feels surreal...

I hate things like this. Death, loss of someone dear etc. It's just so sudden...like, in your whole life, this person was there with you, or at least in your life, and suddenly, just like that, he/she is gone. Will never be here again. Never ever.

When Sheryl's dad passed away, i was also rather shocked, but not knowing him personally made it somewhat less scary. And he died of cancer...which mean he had time and stuff...not sudden? Knowing Grace's father personally, makes it scarier. And i wonder how all the parents feel...like their whole group of friends...wouldn't they be even more scared? They're leaving...one by one...

I hate it. Thinking about it just makes me think what if my grandma does...what if my parents does...I don't like it...I don't want it to happen...

Oh,what I would do to have
the kind of faith it takes
To climb out of this boat I'm in
Onto the crashing waves
To step out of my comfort zone
Into the realm of the unknown
Where Jesus is,
And he's holding out his hand

But the waves are calling out my name
and they laugh at me
Reminding me of all the times
I've tried before and failed
The waves they keep on telling me
time and time again
"Boy, you'll never win,
you'll never win."

But the Voice of truth tells me a different story
the Voice of truth says "do not be afraid!"
and the Voice of truth says "this is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of truth

Oh, what I would do
to have the kind of strength it takes
To stand before a giant
with just a sling and a stone
Surrounded by the sound
of a thousand warriors
shaking in their armor
Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand

But the giant's calling out
my name and he laughs at me
Reminding me of all the times
I've tried before and failed
The giant keeps on telling me
time and time again
"Boy you'll never win,
you'll never win."

But the voice of truth tells me a different story
the Voice of truth says "do not be afraid!"
and the Voice of truth says "this is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of truth

But the stone was just the right size
to put the giant on the ground
and the waves they don't seem so high
from on top of them looking down
I will soar with the wings of eagles
when I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
singing over me

But the Voice of truth tells me a different story
The Voice of truth says "do not be afraid!"
And the Voice of truth says "this is for my glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me (calling out to me)
I will choose to listen and believe (I will choose to listen and believe)
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of truth

I will listen and believe
I will listen and believe the Voice of truth
I will listen and believe
'Cause Jesus you are the Voice of truth
And I will listen to you.. oh you are the Voice of truth
