Retarded night was retardedly funz and awsumz :] #toomuchsugar #turningintodes

And this is how my afternoon went:

- looking forward to cycling/gloating that i live near enough to go home and change
- meeting the ppl who drove at ecp
- waiting at the bike shop and attempting to rebuke the rain. camwhoring at the cute family bikes
- rain starts to come in on one side of the bike shop -> moves to shelter
- tries to find the ppl who walked
- goes over to macs (amused that one side is raining heavily while the part we're walking is drizzling)
- proceeds to spend 1 1/2 hrs ish at macs
- 9 nuggetz. crazy bonding.
- meme faces ftw.
- walking home in the rain

twas a good day [:

27 January 2012

I am good girl. Submitted testimony before deadline :]

But wow, really thank God for this course.

Not only is it no regrets, but it's gratefulness as well.

I learn so much just by seeing so many others on fire for God, with so much passion that i can't help but be impacted as well.

I learn so much through the modules, things i'd always wondered about, things i never bothered to wonder about before, and things we often just graze across.

It really is "Take me deeper" as the song says!

And i feel like i'm growing so much spiritually, walking so much closer with God. It's a really amazing experience and feeling. And even better to know that this is just a starting point and it's only going to get better throughout my life.

This is why i love my God so much. Because He is so personal and so real. He's not a God who's boxed up in church or in the bible. He's a God that's omnipresent throughout my life. And His love for the world, for me is just unbelievable.

As Paster Daniel Foo said, "God has reckless mercy"

I really want to share this mountaintop experience.

25 January 2012

today, i almost sporked my eye out trying to remove a contact from my eye when the contact had already (somehow) come(came?) off.

>__<
oh sometimes i hate the clique politics
:/
sometimes i wish we could just cut ties
:S
sometimes i wish life would be easier
:\
sometimes i wonder why we even bother
-___-
sometimes i wonder if they'd even care
=_=
sometimes i can't be bothered
-.-
sometimes it gets so tedious
@_@
sometimes it gets so pointless.

23 January 2012

I always miss my cousin a little more during times when my aunt's family (dad's side) comes over :(

cos my bro can talk to the older son and i have no one to talk to.

meh. -escapes for a while-

This year was a CNY different from all others.

All my life, i've been used to:

1. Waking up in the morning, wearing new clothes, greeting grandma, parents, aunt.
2. Grandma's godchildren and their parents and other sundry relatives visiting and drinking grandma's tian tang
3. Going to my uncle's house (father's side) to eat steamboat.
4. Heading over to Semerah [cue long car trip]
5. Reaching Semerah at night and playing cards and gambling. nua in the heat. maybe sparklers and fireworks.
God, i miss my grandma so much.
This year it was really different.

1. Woke up (late :X) greeted parents.
2. Rushed off to fetch aunt.
3. Went to visit my sort-of godaunt and her parents.
4. Went into JB (Skudai) to visit my third granduncle for lunch. This part was interesting especially because there was totally no jam in tuas, plus it was like 30min from tuas, so it felt like we were just going to some other part of SG.
5. Headed back in to SG, went to visit second granduncle. I don't actually remember ever going to his house before though apparently i did as a kid. That's cause he'd always come over to pay respect to my grandma first [refer to sundry relatives]. Played 'fishing' with my mom, aunt and granduncle. Won quite a bit :3 heh.
6. Headed over with second granduncle to visit fourth grandaunt and her children. Got to see my uncle's new house! Played more fishing and then blackjack :3 overall win again ^^v
7. Waiting for aunt (dad's side) to visit.

As you can see, this year was much more eventful. Was more fun in the way that you get to see different people in different places and all, although it was a bit strange to feel like a wandering nomad. Other years, it's spent in m'sia where the whole clan is in Semerah :X

Turns out, what i thought would be a nua CNY is actually a pretty busy one...

Hope everyone's CNY has been good :D

XIN NIAN KUAI LE!~

-is obviously too lazy to type chinese charas =3=-

just in case anyone tries to contact me tomorrow, i kinda found out recently that i'm gonna be going to m'sia for a day trip tmr :O

Will be back at night!

Miss scouz already :(

We did this epic naruto marathon where we angst-ed and mocked the charas with affection :P

Naruto - one of the animes i grew up with :P

k, i shall try to be less nua and lazy some other time :P

Gnite~

Hope new year's clothes are pweetz for everyone ^^v

12 January 2012

My mornings & early afternoons are so awesome and fulfilling...

I need to find something better to do in the afternoons ><

11 January 2012

I need to stop falling asleep in my bed while reading a book in my phone in the afternoons @_@

All that i get from that is a cramped hand (actually, fingers O_O do fingers even cramp?) And if my hair is clipped up, a cricked neck :S

So anyway, on to life.

We've long since ended Pastor Rupert's module, and just finished Pastor James Singh's one yesterday. I must admit to still feeling iffy about the subject, and feeling disappointment after yesterday, but whatever it is, i will wait.

Today was the start of Rev Dr Margaret Seaward. :O

She's 81.

I'm amazed once more at her knowledge of her subject. It seems that there is no one more appropriate than her to speak about the subject.

Hearing God's voice.

Even though there'll be a test by the end of this module, even though her notes are almost like jc notes and have a lot of handwritten copied things, i'm still getting eager to know more.

06 January 2012

Ah. I haven't DDR-ed since the arcade in ECP closed >_< and that's more than a year away i think...

i guess i am a DDR girl xD As much as i am a Tekken girl :P

But i kinda miss the heydays of DDR where you'd see pros on the DDR machine stunning you with their awesome quick legz :X

That's no more around nowadays :(

05 January 2012

Day 3 in school and i kinda miss having a uniform @_@

This is when i realise that almost all my clothes are too informal :X shorts...skirts...that are short(s) [ooh found a pun :D some will get it xD]...:X dang.

And either my mugger side has finally shown [WHERE WERE YOU DURING A'S?!?!?!] or i just have too much time on my hands :X

Because, i finished my book review book yesterday...just kept reading and before i knew it i was finished and it was 2...i'm the only one in my group of new-met friends who has done so...derp :X

But surprisingly, non-fiction is interesting! [i'm sorry richard crockett, you just weren't a good first non-fic book :X]

It's day 3, and i already know that these 3 months are going to be life changing if i want them to be.

I love the school. Being surrounded by so many people bonded by one thing - God - is amazing. It's like camp but even better. Much much much more spiritual. It's really like sitting at the feet of Jesus. Mary vs Martha - bible school vs work :/ i found someone who felt the same way as me. It's amazing, learning so much not just in lectures, but by interacting with people. It's also quite shocking how i can manage to stay awake easily for like 4 4hr sessions when i can't even keep awake for 50mins in TJ :X But then again, the topics are much much more interesting and more alive.

And bit by bit i feel my shyness drain away as i make an effort to make new friends (: Well, there's still awkwardness, but it's a good start. And most people are there alone as well, so it's easy to make friends and stuff.

Alright, embarking on this 3month journey i won't forget ^^

03 January 2012

And to think i was gloating a month or so ago about not starting school xD

But seriously? No regrets at all :]

First day of school today. Well, orientation. It wasn't a 'fun' orientation, but it's got me excited for the next 3 months. I'm quite sure that this will be a lifetime experience. It was really awesome to feel the presence of God in the room during praise & worship when one considers that this is only the first day.

And going alone has it's benefits too! (although i guess i'm not exactly alone from church because Joel isn't a total stranger) Met a lot of new and interesting people today. Really nice and friendly people :D One thing about this that differs from a school orientation is that the people are all bonded by the fact that we're all Christians rather than not having any bonds. It's also very interesting to hear about other churches.

Ohoh! And we have breakfast and lunch provided :O And i'm gonna be getting a diploma at the end of this xD [material benefits :P]

The list of pastors look promising as well :D There's Ross Paterson and Les Wheeldon who've spoken in church before, and Samson's dad LOL.

The age range is also pretty awesome. From 19 to like old people xD

ALSO their library is very nice :D it smells of books like any good library should ;)

I am also "Grace" because that is the most common mispronounciation of my name -.- i rebel against that because i know too many Graces :X (no offense to any Graces', but it's just so common D:)

Eggcited to see what will happen in the next 100 days! :D

02 January 2012

One more colour before i ruin my nails D: i promise :X

(oh hey, 500th post was on new year's or was it eve?)

01 January 2012

This is when New Year's started feeling like New Year :D

When we went to the hair salon to get our hair cut. Cos me and my aunt trimmed our fringes, and i got to decide my bro's hair :3

SO NOW HE LOOKS AWESOME HAHA i'm proud to say it 8D

He finally looks man and non-female tranny xP

And it's goooooood too :D

And cheap~ (SGD$7 :O)

And then Semerah just felt warm and snuggy and nua in a good way :D So yea~ :3

AND I GOT BIZKITZ :3

So anyway, this is gonna be a quarterly thing from now on :O go m'sia, cut hair, BIZKIT. 8Db Visit relatives~ hoho

i wanna try getting a purple streak for the fun of it :D

Morning world...so i'm up at this unearthly hour :S i suppose it marks that my 2012 will be full of early and hopefully-bright days.

haiz the prob with this new year wasn't the inactivity, per se, but the lack of option to spend the dullness in comfy nuaing :S ohwell.
