Les Miserables

I enjoyed it!

Admittedly, for a musical, some of the singing is rather redundant, and the main character does go flat in places. And err...the romance is also pretty cheesy and lousy...with like a dumb blonde and a creepy stalker haha :X

But beyond that, the story, the message and the characters are just so moving and touching. Especially the ending. The ending was super beautiful. I mean, perhaps it wouldn't have had that much impact had i not been told about the parallel of heaven where there are no slaves. Like at first i was like ";_; he's dying..." and then when i was told that it hit me like "omg! yea!" and then and then with the song of angry men with all the dead revolutionaries singing happily and free.

Wow. Just wow.

It's like the second movie that made me almost cry haha.

I also love the little kid who technically suicide bomb-ed :X and Ebony! :___)
